We offer many social and support groups for members of all

if you can start one! |
Our Brotherhood
The Brotherhood is a strong
service and financial arm of the temple, sponsoring many programs such
as Musical Shows, Single Dances, Holiday Parties and Israeli Scout
Shows. The Brotherhood’s mission is to sponsor entertaining events for
the Congregation and Community while raising funds to support the
Temple.
Each season, the Brotherhood
plans and sponsors four entertaining shows and occasional Special Performances.
Most shows will be on Sunday afternoon at 2 PM. Tickets for all shows and the
Special Performance will be on sale at the Temple, or call the
Office(276-6161).
The Brotherhood
Breakfast/General Meetings, with guest
speakers, are generally held on the third Sunday of the Month, October
to April, at 9:30 AM. All are invited, especially your spouse or
best gal, friends and buddies. Reservations are requested for this, by
calling the temple Office.
The Singles Dances are held the
first and third Wednesday of the month, year round, at 7:30 PM. The
dance starts out with a short dance class, followed by open dancing
until about 10 PM. A light refreshment and coffee is served during the
dance. Everybody, singles and couples, are welcomed to these weekly
dances.
Joining and participating in the
Temple Brotherhood is a rewarding experience. We encourage all male
members of Temple to become active members of Brotherhood. The
Community is welcomed at all of our functions.
For more information, call our Brotherhood
President, Manny Spunt, or e-mail him at

Our Sisterhood
Our Sisterhood is the collective
presence, voice and strength of the women of Temple Sinai.
We strive to
create fun, educational and interesting programs and trips for all of
the women (men are always welcome to join us) of our Temple.
All women of
Temple Sinai are welcome and encouraged to become members of our
Sisterhood. New Temple members are presented a complimentary first
year membership (or part if they join during the year) in our
Sisterhood. We offer Life Membership as well as yearly membership.
We
collectively raise money for
food relief in Gondar, Ethiopia and for scholarships for
High School Students in Israel, paying for their fees and school
necessities. This is an ongoing Sisterhood project.
Sisterhood
meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month unless otherwise
noted. Our meetings generally begin at 11AM. An entertaining program
is followed by lunch.
We look
forward to seeing many of you at our meetings and programs.

Our Youth Group

Our youth group is for middle
and high school students in the South Palm Beach County area. We
accept all teens regardless of religion and encourage our members to
“bring a friend" to all activities. Our current focus is to
participate in:
|
Bereavement Group
We are a group of people who are
in various stages of loss addressing our grief.
In a warm and safe atmosphere, we
support each other and develop trust and comradery. Many times a
person shares a strategy for coping that we can relate to.
Our goal is to heal our hearts,
while moving forward with renewed strength and confidence, and perhaps
even meet some new friends.
We meet each Tuesday from 2-3:30 PM. |

Chavurot
A Chavurah is a Jewish "special interest
group" composed of members with some interest (perhaps a hobby, prayer study,
educational or current events topic, or even a sport) or personal characteristic
in common, e.g., "empty nesters", youngsters, elderly singles. Most of these
groups operate informally, started by a small group of friends within the
community who wish to enjoy social activities or educational opportunities
together. If you wish to start a group we would be happy to help you
organize!
Here are contacts for some Chavurot:
-

Temple.
